Scanning the flats

I decided to take a small break from painting trout and try my hand at a seascape. This was painted from the photo on the cover of the Kaufman's catalog.

  1. Hey Phil Wow what a surprise --Your sail boat with "crew" is such a departure from your usual art. Very pleasant indeed--I definitely think you ought to do more of these. Are you willing to sell this little beauty? If so, how much? Will you sell the original?---EP and the other EP concurs.

  2. Yes this is quite a departure from my typical trout portrait, I would be willing to give you a good deal on this original if you like I am not too attached to it.

  3. Philip I would like to purchase the painting and here is what I would like--------a good price as you said and I hope that you could mat and frame it for us. Of course we would pay more for that. Then if you bring it down when you come, that would be super. Call to discuss--Love Mom

  4. I love this picture of a boat, especially the sky it really captures what I love in Watercolour painting. And I love the colour and sheen on the hull of the boat.
